Tenby is one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK. Especially in the Summer. But we think Christmas in Tenby is pretty cool too.
And with good reason. It’s got pretty much everything you’d want. Independent and Boutique shops, cosy cafes, good food and plenty of places to stay. And it’s right on the beach. Which is great at any time of the year.
We like to to get a bit of the Christmas in Tenby experience every year now. And that’s not going to change any time soon. The lights and the atmosphere draw us back time and again.

Shops at Christmas in Tenby
Shopping in Tenby is very much about boutiques and small independents…
…but there are a few well known high street names here too.
And they do go all out on making their shop windows look fabulously festive!
Most of the shops are located in the High Street and those running off it. Some are more accessible than others.

Yes the beaches! We love all four beaches in Tenby! We’ve dedicated entire posts to them but they are:
And they’re all as good as they are individual. In fact they regularly win awards with, for example, The Sunday Times rating Tenby’s Castle Beach the best in the UK in 2019.
Great in the warmth of the Summer Sun they are also very busy then. Which is why we think a great time to visit them is around Christmas. Especially great to walk on you can almost have them entirely to yourself!
Eat and drink at Christmas in Tenby
There are so many places to eat and drink in Tenby that you’ll find it difficult to choose.
Cafes, bistros, large fast food chains and fine dining restaurants. It’s got the lot!
We don’t give recommendations because things change and everyone’s tastes differ. Suffice it to say that you will not have difficulty finding something to suit you. Possibly because of the competition here you will be spoilt for choice. So Eat, Drink and be Merry! And have a fantastic Christmas 🎄
Where to find more information on Tenby
Tenby Tourist Information Centre is located next to the multi-storey car park. There is also a Visitor Centre run by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park by Five Arches, the main gateway into the old town.
