All that remains of Tenby Castle today is just one small tower overlooking the town and out to sea. It’s well looked after though so it’s definitely worth a visit especially if you’re in Tenby anyway. And even if you’re not it makes a great focal point (or excuse) for a trip. Previous Next If
Carew Castle is one of our favourite castles in Pembrokeshire. Built in 1270 it’s a fine example of a Norman rectangular and, although often described as a ruin, much of it still exists. It’s in pretty good condition too and well looked after by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority. There’s plenty to do and see
