Lindian Holiday Village honest review

Lindian Holiday Village honest review

If you’re thinking of heading to Rhodes and want a peaceful all-inclusive escape (with your own pool and a private beach) our Lindian Holiday Village honest review may help.

When we booked we were chasing the holy grail of summer breaks: fun in the sun, privacy, exclusivity, and a solid range of food and drink.

What we got ticked nearly every box — with just a few quirks that kept it from a perfect five-star.

A Room With a Pool

We stayed in a private pool room and, honestly, it was worth every penny. The outdoor space was a dream — sun and shade from 7am to 7pm, meaning you could dip in and out all day without fighting for loungers. If you’re booking, go for the pool room. You won’t regret it.

Tip: Pack a pool net to scoop out bugs and leaves — it kept our pool perfect. A lilo and beach ball added a fun touch too!

Food, Drink & Favourite Spots

Let’s start with the good: food is in good supply, the drinks are flowing, and there’s something for everyone.

We will say, though, that there are periods when you can’t get something to eat between one place closing and another opening. So you may get some snack gaps. For this reason we picked up bananas and cakes at breakfast for elevenses and afternoon snacks.

Classic UK-style —Full buffet selection with cooked options, fruit, yogurt, pastries, pancakes and our personal fave, freshly made omelettes.

Great for breakfast and lunch, perfectly decent for dinner.

Not Michelin-star, but more than enough variety and quality.

Standout meal of the trip. Genuinely delicious — don’t skip it!

Sushi incredible and plentiful. Spring rolls deep fried to perfection!

Food was just ok in our opinion.  And the head waiter was a bit too involved in our night out tbh. We wouldn’t do this one again

Pudding selection very disappointing too

Somewhere in the middle.

Not as good as the Asian but better than the Greek

Steak was tender but not plentiful. Tiramisu was good if a but too wet at the bottom.

Yummy Truck

Nice addition.

Enjoyed the burgers, chips and hot dogs.

But you’ve done incredibly well if you get smiles to go with them — food over friendliness here.

Cocktails? Ask and ye shall receive. The Bliss Bar staff were fab and always happy to shake up something new (even a Dirty Martini and Old Fashioned, thanks to our impromptu requests).

Beach Days & Pool Politics

The private beach is a real highlight — sandy, calm, and never too busy. But get there before 10am to snag a cabana. Same goes for poolside beds — aim for 9.30am latest or you’ll be circling.

We also booked jet skis with Sabina Watersports — €50 for 15 mins of full-throttle fun. Highly recommended if you fancy breaking up the relaxation with a bit of adrenaline

Bugs, Bites & Handy Essentials

Greece in summer = mosquitoes, ants and the odd cockroach. Not a huge deal, but enough that we were grateful we’d come prepared.

We recommend:

However, there is a well stocked shop right on site with another off site option just 100m up the road if you forget.

Staff & Vibes

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the bars. They’re working hard in the heat and still smiling, which we appreciated. Special mention to the Bliss Bar team who made our evenings extra special with their cocktail creativity and relaxed vibe.

Would We Go Back?

Absolutely. Lindian Holiday Village is ideal for couples or families with teens looking to switch off, relax, and soak up some serious sun. It’s not super lively — which is exactly what we wanted — but still has enough going on to keep everyone happy.

If we’re being picky, we’d rate it 4.25 stars out of 5. There are some maintenance issues and the range of facilities is a little limited compared to larger resorts, but none of that stopped us having a great time.

Final Word on our Lindian Holiday Village honest review

If your idea of the perfect holiday is poolside privacy, soft sandy beaches, and Greek sunshine all day long, you’ll love it here. Just come prepared for the mozzies, wake up early for that sunbed, and don’t forget to order a dirty martini at Bliss.
